URBANITE participates on the XXIII Spanish ITS Congress / V Iberoamerican (LATAM) ITS Congress

The ITS Congress, organized by ITS Spain and ITS Iberoamerica and chaired by the Consejería de Fomento de la JUNTA DE ANDALUCÍA, will be held in FIBES (Seville) on March 28, 29 and 30, 2023 under the slogan ”ITS Deployment for Sustainable Mobility”, organized by ITS Spain and ITS Iberoamerica and chaired by the Consejería de Fomento de la JUNTA DE ANDALUCÍA.

The presentation focuses on the case of Bilbao, tools have been developed to improve the characterization of the mobility under different modes of transport, specifically: 1) make traffic predictions, 2) analyze the use of public bicycle service, and 3) calculate origin-destination matrices for the use of urban buses. The tool developed at URBANITE manages these heterogeneous data sources, improves their quality and articulates the necessary algorithms for their treatment, presentation and different predictive analytics that facilitate decision-making by urban mobility technicians and managers.
