		WELCOME TO THE FIRST EDITION OF URBANITE NEWSLETTER!!! This newsletter is a publication of the URBANITE Project. Its goal is to provide information about the project activities and to showcase the project achievements. URBANITE provides, by means of a co-creation strategy, a long-term sustainable ecosystem model that articulates the expectations, trust and attitude from civil servants, citizens and other stakeholders in the use of disruptive technologies in the context of urban mobility planning. Four use cases are being implemented: AMSTERDAM, BILBAO, HELSINKI and MESSINA. Works are currently ongoing in all case studies. +info

URBANITE GENERAL ASSEMBLIES	URBANITE’s SoPoLabs	How disruptive technologies can strengthen urban mobility transformation, the experience of URBANITE
During 2021, 4 General Virtual Assemblies were held. Due to COVID-19, the meeting was held online using Teams. The Project began in April 2020. In the URBANITE kick off virtual meeting, where all the partners met and the procedures for achieving the project goals was discussed. Cocreation sessions, use cases and sustainability activities were discussed and agreed upon. +info	The scope of URBANITE SoPoLab, which stands for Social Policiy Lab, is to assess the social impact of disruptive technologies in public administrations and to develop new proposals for government processes and decision-making tools. +info	URBANITE’s investigation focuses on four European cities distributed in four different countries: Amsterdam (the Netherlands), Bilbao (Spain), Helsinki (Finland), and Messina (Italy). Each of them offers a different perspective on urban mobility in terms of characteristics, services offered and challenges. +info
