9th General Assembly, putting the platform on the table

The 9th General Assembly was held in Amsterdam, hosted by Gemeente Amsterdam and WAAG. A day and a half meeting included a hands-on session reviewing the whole process of simulation (simulation, exploratory data analysis, decision support and recommendation engine) and a showroom showing the different technical deployments. As Amsterdam explores how local governments can facilitate a mobility data commons while continuously improve its network of bike lanes and the bike experience of cyclists, the municipality is keen on gaining new insights through biking data, looking for methods to integrate data and information in their policy processes. Local stakeholders were also invited, providing relevant feedback for the next steps of the project to ensure add value capabilities and better usability.

The meeting was held in two locations: first day at one of the offices of the Municipality and the second day at the historical location of WAAG, emblematic building of the city.
